Blog # 3

My soccer team and I was standing there in our positions waiting for the whistle to blow and the game to start.  This was our first game and there was adrenaline going through our bodies.  Everyone was pumped but also scared at the same time.  Finally, the whistle blew and the game had started. The other team had got the ball first so they were coming towards our net. My friend and I were defence so we were getting ready as ball came towards us, and by now I was freaking out because if I missed the ball the other team could score. Also, my palms were getting very sweaty and I was shaking too, so as I was saying the ball was coming towards me and I ran at it and kicked it as hard as i could. I was happy to know that the ball got to one the players on my team.  They were running with the ball and one of them shot and scored. So now it was 1-0 the whole team was happy because this was our first goal of the season. By the end the game the other team still had not scored so we won 1-0.

Blog # 2

This all started when I came and sat on the couch.  I picked up the remote and tried to turn the TV on, but it didn’t work, so I tried again, it still didn’t work. I told my dad and he said to change the batteries.  So then I went to the kitchen, got some batteries and changed them. After that I went back and sat on the couch and tried to turn it on again, but it didn’t work.  Since it wasn’t working I threw it on the ground, when my dad heard it hit the ground he ran over and asked what happened.  When I told him the remote wasn’t working.  He told me to pick up the remote and check if the batteries where in the right way. I checked and told him they were. So finally I got so frustrated that I gave it a big smack and it started working. Isn’t that amazing?
